Ocean View Hike - Starting from Pier
This locale has bodies of water on three sides with views of Ft. Monroe and the Chesapeake Bay.
The trek from the pier out to the end of Willoughby Spit is about 3 miles. We are looking at a 6 mile round trip. If the tide is high this can be a challenge in soft sand.
