Venturing into Chesapeake and Suffolk offers access to the Dismal Swamp, the Elizabeth, Nansemond and James Rivers.
Hampton has the jewel of Fort Monroe and Newport News boasts the largest city park in the region.
Our club also does regional hikes along the Application Trail, weekend trips to Virginia and North Carolina State Parks and has ventured as far as Twisted Falls in the Smokie Mountains of Tennessee.

Explore York River State Park
There are plenty of trails to explore and a lot of route options.
This park a lot like First Landing.
The trails are wooded, elaborate
and somewhat hilly with access to
the river in a few spots.
We will hike for 2-3 hours and there are opt out early chances for folks with limited time.
