Fall Retreat at Grayson Highlands- Oct. 13

Friday- October 13th at 6 a.m.

Our venture to Grayson Highlands and Hungry Mother State Parks is dated to see the best of the fall color

We will hike the, occasionally challenging but worth it, trail to Molly's Knob on Friday.

Saturday we will hike at Grayson Highlands. There is a 5 mile lollipop trail with a small falls on the loop or if we have hard chargers along we can conquer the five hour mountainous walk to Mt. Rodgers and back, the highest point in Virginia.

Either way we will see the ponies and the highland meadows.

Sunday we do a half day paddle on Hungry Mother Lake before heading home.

Our rental house has 5 bedrooms, 7 beds , 2 baths, washer/ dryer, sheets, towels and a fully equipped kitchen.
